Snooker and pool tables Here's our guide to buying snooker and pool tables and related equipment. 
Snooker diner:A type of snooker (or pool) table which doubles-up as a dining table. These tables are typically at least 5 foot in length and tend to have more attractive designs on the legs and sides of the table. The table top may be a single or double piece design made from Oak, Mahogany or pine. Snooker-Diners are ideal if you dont quite have the space for a seperate table. Slate Bed table: A snooker table may have a wooden or slate bed on which the game is played. Unlike wooden tables which may be affected by heat and moisture, a slate bed table offers a more stable playing surface. 
Folding Table:If you only intend using the table infrequently or need to store the table under a bed then a fold-away table may be the option for you. Fold away tables come in 5 and 6 foot sizes and feature folding legs. These tables are ideal for kids and teenagers and are available from around £80 upwards. Table Size Snooker tables are available in 3 foot, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 foot lengths. When deciding on a table consider the size of the room you will be playing in and if you will be leaving the table up all the time or wish to pack it away when not in use. As a guide we have included the following room sizes which will allow for easy play on the tables. Rooms below these sizes will make it more difficult to play although you can resolve this buy buying shorter cues'.
Snooker Cue's Snooker cue's are available in 36, 48 and 57 inch lenghts. Most smaller tables comes with a pair of cues but if your looking for a higher quality item then there's lots to chose from.
